Very narrow spaces and extremely difficult to get a satellite signal. Nice managers who work very hard at keeping the place very clean. Great for 1-3 nights while seeing the sights. Noise from street dies down at night except for occasional big truck at 3 in the morning.

Level is something that needs to be explained to the owners of this park. A little grading would go a long way in improving this park. Could be real nice with a little work.

This was a great overnight stop with very nice owners. Quiet yet not far from I-15. Would definitely stop again if going this way.

This has become a place for ATVs and motorcycles. Wouldn't have stayed here if we had known. Had ATVs and motorcycles going by our bedroom at between 6 and 7 in the morning. They put us in a site that barely had room for us. This was the second site as the first one was way too small! The trees are not cut back so we scratched the side of our coach. Couldn't get to the pool for all the kids on the weekend, members left after dark, so we would have them pull out at 8 or 9 at night. This park is a long way from anywhere and there's not much to do if you don't have an ATV or boat.

The park is becoming awfully expensive for a parking lot. Workers insist on stacking everyone up and leaving rows empty rather than giving everyone some space. But it is handy for visiting friends and/or family in the area.

Great small park, does now have good WiFi. Nice place for a few days.

Were there before the 'season' began so for a couple of days we were almost the only ones in the park. There are a lot of rigs left parked and used on the weekends only. But they seem to maintain things quite well. Some of the sites are hard to get into because of small trees that don't line up with site lines. Backins much better than pull-throughs. Sites are very narrow. But it is a nice park, they were just opening the cafe the weekend we left. Great area, pretty country and an easy drive up to Yosemite. Oakhurst is just down the hill and has everything you need. We stayed under ROD and would definately go back again.

We stayed in under C2C in the "short term" section - which is right next to the freeway, and so has lots of noise. WiFi isn't available in this section. Nice park, but since they don't like 'short termers' the feeling you get is of step children who have to sleep someplace. We would have considered this for a 3 month stay next winter, but won't because of their attitude. Lots of Park Models with "reduced price" signs on them.

Don't take site 17, all others would be ok. Pretty area and nice staff. Pool isn't heated in the winter and is closed, but spa is open. Would rate higher if pool was heated.

Stayed under C2C and were put up in the worst possible place on the upper level next to the trailer storage area. Luckily we were only staying one night. Road noise was pretty bad. Sites closer to the river would be better for a longer stay. Snowbirds abound and some of the sites were starting to look pretty tacky.

This is probably the nicest RV park in Fort Davis aside from the state park. I hope they are able to sell it to someone who can make it go. Would be a shame to lose this asset in this town.

We would have rated it higher if the pool was heated - that's the only drawback that we could see. The rate is a little high for the area - it may be why there were so many empty spaces. I hope they make it. The monthly rate is reasonable.

Stay under C2C. OK place but clearly pool maintenance isn't high on their list. Mostly long-term stays.

Nice park but awful expensive for what you get - no cable and the Wi-Fi doesn't work towards the lake. But sites are nice, hosts are friendly and the small cafe was nice and food was good.

Nice park for an overnight stop. Cable for $2 extra so didn't have to fiddle with dish. WiFi was nice and strong. Sites very close together but for overnight it was ok.

The layout of the park is quite confusing - utilities are all over the place and don't make any sense. People plug in all over and the office won't correct it. There was considerable damage done during Hurricane Ike that they are slowly cleaning up - - lots of mud moved down the hills and they lost several trees. Since we stayed under ROD it was $0/night for us - otherwise we wouldn't stay. Lots and Lots of permanent residents and some rigs really look pretty bad.

Good Escapees park. Sites are a little on the short size - ask for one 2 ft longer than your coach to get in if you have a tow bar on the back of your motorhome!

Hard to get to this place. Signs aren't good, and you have no idea how to find the office to register. I guess for one night it was ok but the park is really for long term residents, not overnighters.

Wonderful COE park - much cheaper than LBL campground just down the road for the same facilities when using the Senior Pass. Site 113 is a great site if you have a satellite dish. Watch deer wander by each day.

Nice people who own the franchise. Pretty good layout. Nice that we could help ourselves to the riping corn. That said, like all KOAs it is overpriced for what you get, but it served the purpose that we needed.

This could be a really nice place with a little work. Most of the park seems to be seasonal and the people who 'work' in the office regard those traveling as a nuisance. Did think that the $5/day extra if you wanted to use air conditioning was excessive. The place isn't worth $30/day as it is. Thankfully it was cool so we didn't have to face that problem. Never received a site map of the park nor was I told that there was WiFi - though I did see the tower. In fact no information for someone who is spending just a few days. Thankfully they had put some crushed rock on the sites as the whole area was wet, wet, wet. As I said, could be a really nice park if they wanted those traveling, but I don't think they do. That said, if you have family/friends to visit in the area, not a bad place to stay. Cell service is very limited.

The bugs were unbelievable, which made our stay not as enjoyable as it might be. The other problem is no cell phone service and limited aircard service.

Great park for a stay in the Bangor area. Can combine PPA and Escapees discounts. They don't know how to use their reservation system well or it isn't good as they are always moving people into slots then moving them again in two or three days because of units coming in. They would be better off not assigning people to specific spots until they were at the campground. Large group of people who spend the summer there. They charge extra for 50 amp and then charge extra for A/C on top of the 50 amp charge! That was why the lower rating. Will stay here again.

Functioned well for us while visiting Cape Breton. We're C2C members. The pool seemed very nice, and one the weekend families made extensive use of it. Road in/out is only wide enough for one vehicle, and there is no way of seeing what is coming from either direction. Tight getting into some sites. We were in the upper section and could get satellite using tripod, but at the first hint of rain, lost the signal.

There is no cable available. I'm not sure the previous poster stayed. Didn't see the owner, but that is OK. Noise was VERY present, but it was somewhat dimmed. This is strictly at place to stay when you have visiting to do - no amenities of any kind. There are really only 3-4 sites available for traveling public.

Rating would have been higher if they had fixed the water system quicker. The gnats were horrible - couldn't walk the cat because of them. I was told 50 amps weren't available to C2C members, but later arrivals could get them! By then we were set up and didn't want to break down and move. This place wasn't bad for touring, and the trees did help with shade in the overbearing heat. We would probably stay there again in the future.

Very nice state park and wonderful golf course. Site #1 is great for a motorhome and we were able to get satellite easily at that sight. Only water and electric, but for 5 nights that is not a problem for us. Air card service was pretty good and it was nice and quite. Would definitely stop again if in the area.

I'm not sure that the person who reviewed in April was at the same park as we were. We had a nice pull through will new gravel roads to the site (#4). Site was fairly level and drained well as it was raining when we came in and rained all afternoon and evening. Lots of things for kids to do. We will definitely return when we are in the area. Not the road from 220/I-74/73 could use a lot of work, but that has nothing to do with the park. Cell phone is a little weak, but we did get broadband service with the air card. Friendly people at check in.

Not the greatest but not the worst KOA we have been at. The noise from I-95 is constant. The pizza delivery was great. We used this as a center point to visit different surrounding areas. There is NO possibility for satellite reception and they charge $2/night for cable! Probably won't stay here again.

We stayed as Passport America members. This is a very rural camp that is used mainly by people fishing in Lake Marion. Very nice sites overlooking the lake. Yes, there was a fish smell at the end of the day when everyone was cleaning their catches. One should be aware of that when coming here. Since it was off season, most went home on Sunday and we were almost by ourselves for the rest of the week. Lots of interesting history nearby. Very quiet - would stay again if in the area.

We were here for a full month. Nice park, the only problem is some road noise from Rock Crusher and Crystal Oaks roads - but that is gone by about 10 pm. They are trying to sell lots, not sure they are having a lot of success. Did see that the monthly rates for next year are going up over $100. Too bad as that will probably put it beyond our budget for next year. Only negative is the lack of really good restaurants in the area. Most are mediocre which is sad because of the abundance of fresh seafood, etc. People are not overly friendly - a lot of groups of people who have been coming together for years and it appears outsiders are wanted. Luckily we do a lot of other things so it doesn't matter to us. Also a few really tacky units around, but that is not unexpected.

This was our 5th stay at Fort Wilderness in the past 25 years. Since the hurricanes came through in '04 they have removed a lot of trees, shrubs, etc. It opens up the park and took away some of the privacy there use to be between sites and the buffers to the road. I did see a lot of planting going on so hopefully some buffer to the roads will be there before long. As always we stayed in one of the outer loops - much roomier. We had no problem getting our 38 ft MH into our site except for the fellow across from us who had is big dually sitting out in the road. Otherwise, pretty easy in and out. Overpriced, but it is Disney and the ability to stay on the premises is well worth it. I wish the theme parks were as well taken care of as the RV park - we may not be back because of the lack of cleanliness in the theme parks.

WAY over priced for what you get. Access isn't easy and LOTS of road noise. Park itself is nice, large pull throughs for overnight, appears mostly long term tenants, manager is friendly. We stopped overnight so didn't use the gate that others have noted is a problem. Wouldn't mind the road noise (we've had worse) but at that price!.....

Good place for an overnight off of I-10 at exit 372. We were able to pull our 38 ft MH and toad into the space, just hung over a foot or so, but plenty of room from others to get by. We are parked in the row north of the main building which helps block the noise from I-10. 50 amp power available. 10% off at the restaurant with the paid receipt.

After reading some of the previous reviews I was a little leery about coming here, but we have been pleasantly surprised. Beautifully kept park, very friendly staff when we checked in, site is OK but I can see that some on the lower level are very narrow. However, it appears that some do not know how to locate their rigs to make maximum use of a site. Also this isn't a place where people would spend hours just sitting out by their rigs - to many things to do and see in the area. Nice public park right next to the park and you get a key to get back into the RV Park from the public park! The only 2 distractions are the freeway noise, which is kind of a constant background, but being so close to the freeway means you can get out and about very easily, and the very few spots for guest vehicles to be parked. Pricey, but then we expect that in a major metro area. We will probably return when we come back to the area.

As WHR members we were pleasantly surprised at how well this resort is - much better than some others we have been to. Had EXCELLENT WiFi, and since we got one of the few 50 amp sites, had trees to give us afternoon shade. Only wish the Desert Hot Springs area was cleaner - the park is nice and clean, the area has garbage strewn all over the desert. Not as nice as the desert in Arizona around Casa Grande.

For an easy in and out from the I-5 freeway, this would be a good choice for overnighting. The price is kind of steep for what you get, but there isn't much else out here. Sites were nice and level, plenty of them, and there wasn't a lot of noise from the freeway. Also truck stops for refueling and several restuarants (fast food and franchise) within walking distance.

Easy to get in an out, except for the awful speed bumps. Instead of telling you that the limbs could be a problem, why don't they just trim them. There isn't much we can do about the height of the motorhome. For a one-night stop to visit family, this was an ok place. A LOT of noise from the freeway behind - luckily it did die down at night, though it was going FULL bore at 6:00 am. I think they are trying to improve - noticed a lot of cleaning going on, but they do have to do something about trimming the trees.

We left early because the sewer backed up and they did nothing about it. Said we shouldn't have just opened the valve, but rather cracked it open as their system can't handle full tanks being discharged! The park was damaged by the winter storms and it doesn't appear that they really care about making a comeback. Lots of long-term stays that look really bad. FHUs are near the highway - luckily it is quiet at night. As someone mentioned, this could be a great park, but not with current management.

Nice small park next to Suntides golf course. Only about 20 of the sites are for traveling public, the rest are seasonal (or longer). Some of the seasonal residents are downright hostile about their 'patch of grass', cursing at us because our cat (on her leash) was upsetting their unleashed dogs! Dogs are allowed to run unleashed in the pet area, which is not fenced off from the rest of the park, so in effect they run all over. Sites are back to back hookups, most pull-throughs, large and fairly level. Could be a great park with a little work on attitude. But I don't think they really want traveling public, it is so much work checking them in, etc.

A pretty good KOA park. On the pricey side for what is there, but not bad. Nice people in the office and around the park. All of the picnic tables have been situated for 5th Wheels, not MH, but we're usable. Roads a little bumpy and narrow. A couple of long term vehicles that looks like they were the worse for the wear, but it is a quiet park. Probably will stay again as we have relatives in the area. Would have stayed longer but they said they were booked up for the weekend. When we left, they indicated that some had already withdrawn their reservations.

The "rules" included the statement that you could not use A/C, electric heaters, heating strips, etc. They provide 30 amps, but don't want you to use it! Maybe because it was spring they hadn't really got set up for summer yet, but there was mud all around, about 1/2 of the sites weren't really usable, the road was in HORRIBLE shape and all of the campsites needed gravel put in so you didn't sink up to your hubs. Manager had no idea on where to put units. Put us in a site that wasn't big enough. Luckily there were some maintenance men working and they helped us park in a site that would handle our rig. The camp site is about 1/2 mile from the main road (and the clubhouse) and looks like it wouldn't take much of a hard rain to have that river flooding into the campgrounds. This is a membership park and we stayed under ROD. Will not return, there are better options in the area.

We couldn't have found a better park in the area. This is what all parks should be like. Gorgeous setting, listen to the surf as we go to sleep at night. Nice sites - if you have less than a 40 ft motorhome, go for the small interior sites and save money. DEFINITELY will return again.

OK for an overnight stop. It is difficult to get into and out of - trees need to be trimmed. The pullthroughs are in the back - you have to go back out of the park and around a corner to get to them. Being PA makes it good for overnights.

I'm surprised this park hasn't been reviewed before - it is a wonderful park if you like golf and other activities. It is one the very west side of Yuma, a little off of the beaten path. But it is worth the drive. Nice golf course - a full 18 holes. Large backin sites, but make sure you have extra hose lengths, all of the utilities are in the back. Minimum 20' but more like 30' sewer hose is needed. Sites are very wide with a concrete patio. You can wash your rig and car at the site. Most are snowbirds and rates are much better if you do a minimum of 30 days.

A resort in name only - - really a big parking lot. Staff was friendly and they do have activities. However, they had no map of the area, no information on things going on in the area, etc. Also, the only grocery within 50 miles are at little mom and pop facilities. Would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could stock up. Very poor cell service - we joined several others each day driving 4 miles down to Hope to make calls and get online. Lots of geocaches in the area, so there are a few things to do.

This is a Good Sam and Passport America park. They have raised the PA rate to $17.50 per night for a maximum of 6 nights. Require cash for PA. Park is all concrete and gravel. They offer discounts (Good Neighbor & Passport) and then add on 'extras' so that the price is back up to the price for Good Sam's Discount, if you want anything more than back-in, 30 amp, and water. This is more than a little 'shady' on their part. During heavy rain almost all of the campsites had standing water around the units. Make sure you have something under the jacks as they will sink. Interior roads could use a lot of work. Staff was nice when we checked in and were working all of the time doing routine maintenance. If the interior roads were better we would probably come back.

The confederate flag at the front should tell you all you need to know. Charge extra for 50 amp service (ok - I'll go for that) and then state in the rules that you can't use electric heaters or a/c units. Why do they think people pay the extra for 50 amps? Roads are atrocious. Pothole city! WiFi is pretty good - but only if close to the office. Lots of seasonal campers. Place just looks worn-out - office is dark and dingy.

Sites are extremely narrow. Camp ground hosts are down right hostile. $5.00 per person charge if someone should want to come and visit you - why is beyond me because there really isn't any "amenities" to speak of, especially not in the fall. Stayed because we couldn't get a place nearer Chapel Hill because of football game weekend. Would like to stay again and play golf, but not sure because of the hosts and their inflexibility and apparent inability to match size of RVs with available sites - especially when a lot of more suitable sites sat empty the whole weekend. Also was informed that pull throughs are for 2 nights only so they sat empty!

WiFi works sporadically - not very much signal strength from the back rows where those staying only a couple of days are put. They have a statement that if you have a washer/dryer in your RV, you're not allowed to use it!

Really nice park. Very quiet. About 2 1/2 miles from the highway. Large pull throughs. VERY family oriented. Would make a could place to spend a few days. We will be back at some point.

Membership campground, Coast-to-Coast, AOR, and ROD applicable. VERY family oriented. Close to Flint for various activities. One problem is that everyone is allowed to select whatever site they want that is open so popups were in 50 amp sites. Can be a little noisy when lots of families are present, but at night is quiet. We will stay here again when in the area.

Nice campground except that the sites are cut (sort of) into the side of a hill. Higher sites are awfully steep. If level sites were cut into the hill, would rate higher. There are lots of trees, close to the highway, WiFi (but weak signal) and a restuarant at the office.

Good place for overnight stop. Even though it is near I-80, sound is muffled. No cable service, but otherwise nice layout. Does have shade trees. Large area for walking animals. Breakfast is available in the recreation room.

Nice park, easy access to the area. Great as a base for doing winery tours in the Yakima Valley. We will return.

The WiFi only works if you are close to the office. They are trying some limited fencing/shrubbery between sites to help create some limited privacy. Worst part was all of the construction workers who are long term stays and leave at 5:30 am in their diesel pickups. Quiets down again at 6:00 am until everyone starts leaving around 8:00 am. They do have a nice office area with a loft for using your laptop. Unfortunately the stairs (curved) to the loft are quite narrow and not for the faint of heart.

The sites they put Passport America participants in leave a lot to be desired. We had trouble getting jacks down because the ground was so soft (even with pad underneath) but there was too much slope not to use the jacks. WiFi worked well. Sites are very narrow so you may have trouble deploying a wide slide.

No trees. Close to freeway. Turn is not marked well, you are on it before you realize where you need to turn. Good for an overnight stop. Easy pull throughs. Looks like new park.

Pool wasn't filled when we were there. But layout is nice, easy to get to, fairly level sites, and nice personnel in the office. Another plus is the great Sinclair station just down the road - a really, really good RV fill up place. They have done it right.

Interior roads need some work if they want more big rigs. Nice people and a great family park. Quiet at night and great views of the stars. Lots to do for families. Is quite a distance from Flint (nearest major city). Rating would have been higher if they had sewer or WiFi. Would stay there again if in the area.

Nice park. Especially like the screening between sites because the sites are very narrow and without the screening you'd be looking at your neighbors drain hose. They have a thing about using plastic leveler pads and want you to use their wood. Nice and clean park. Wi-Fi is nice - but should be included in the price.

Membership park - they were down right rude to those using C2C, RPI, or AOR to camp. Regulated to a small area, not allowed to use most of the facilities as those are for members who BUY their spots. Railroad train is not only LOUD, but runs by every 1/2 hour. Stayed 3 days and could not take it any longer and left ahead of time.

The pull through sites have you pull onto grass and supposedly you will drive down and around and out when you leave. Unfortunately, the owner is always watering the grass so there is no way a heavy coach could drive on that and get out. The owner was also going around trying to convenience people not to run their air conditioners (90+ heat) because there was some seed whisps blowing from the cottonwood trees that he said would "clog" the air conditioners. We ran ours and no problems. Also, the number of 50 amp sites were limited. It was convenient to the area we were visiting, but the cost was not reflective of the limited services provided.

Only back in parking - made difficult because Management let people put satellite dishes blocking backing in easily. Small restaurant featured huckleberry ice cream and buffalo burgers. Also meat store next door selling buffalo meat. Had view of Flathead Lake from campsite. Trees sheltered area from wind. No cell phone service because of hill - had to drive about 1 mile each way to get service.

Wi-Fi didn't work. Poorest excuse for pull-thru - you pull up along side the utility connections and then the curbside is on the 'street' that everyone travels. Large number of derelict looking RVs (some up on blocks) that appear to have been there forever. Very difficult to get out because of the way 'permanent' residents park their cars, etc. How they got an even halfway good review in Trailer Life directory is beyond me.

This park has become a KOA park. Supposedily Big-Rig friendly, but the entrance/exit is JUST wide enough for a diesel pusher and there is no room on either side. And they charge $4.00 PER DAY for 50 amp power. Their WiFi was working even from the back row where we were. A lot of long term rentals and they don't know how to park their cars/trucks so that they are protruding into already narrow roads making getting in with toad still attached a real chore. Sites are narrow - the picnic table almost sites on top of the sewer hose from the next campsite.

A Passport America park which is about 4 hours north of Amarillo, which makes it a convenient place to stop for the night. Had no trouble pulling in with a 37 ft. motorhome with car behind. Might be a bit tight if another unit was behind us. Free WiFi has been added. They seem to be working on the place with some upgrades in the limited landscaping.

They advertise Wi-Fi, but then said it was "out". Girls at the desk had no idea what Wi-Fi was, so if they ever had Wi-Fi it was a LONG time ago. The sites had not been mowed in some time and the mosquitos were horrible. It was easy in and out, but would not stay there again.

Older membership campground. Needs to be updated. Golf Course needs some work. The road going in and out was full of ruts. Campground was quiet, easy to get around in. Sites were layed out with utilities back-to-back. With a little work, this could be a really nice place.

Lovely small park. Nice walk down to the river. Clean. Friendly people. A great place to stop on the way to the "Valley" in Texas. Just off of US 77 north of I-10. Easy access from highway.

They changed the entrance - it is very narrow getting in now. Hot tub has been added and they are putting a small pool in at the campground. Staff is nice and the sites are improving as the trees continue to grow. Biggest down side is the noise from the state highway which is CONSIDERABLE at night and echos up from the road to the campgrounds.

Small state park. Quiet when we stayed there. Excellent shaded sites, though they can be a little tight. They have pictures of all of the sites, along with dimensions at the gate - makes it easier selecting a site. Lots of raccoons in the area, so be careful with food.

Love this park! Even in 96+ heat the shade made it easy to sit out and enjoy the campgrounds. Lots to do and golfing only 5 minutes away. Sites are far between, but sometimes the trees are alittle close to the pad so take the time to really look at the sites before picking one.

Great park. WiFi pretty expensive for short timers, not bad on a monthly basis. Give you a neat little laminated card with info on your coach and car after you check in - I am continually pulling that out because I never remember license plate numbers!

Can walk to the beach - only a couple of blocks away. Stayed because friends were in a condo 2 blocks away on beach. Small sites - just fit 29 ft Class C and toad. ONLY 50 amp power - have to leave a $20 deposit for adapter for 30 amp. Sites VERY close together, luckily they weren't full. Some long term individuals that let animals run loose and bark for a long time. Also loud music one night.

Not a bad park. Has a lot of long term residents. It is right on Cooper Street which is a major street in Arlington so the noise is on-going. The Krispy Creme is only a block away. It costs more than Treetops and this isn't as nice.
